BLACK TEA

Traditional production of tea begins with hand harvesting. In black tea, the harvest is withered, then rolled to release the enzymes within the cell structure of the leaves. The leaves are spread out on drying trays to facilitate oxidation or fermentation. It is the oxidation process that changes the leaf color from green to black. Finally the leaves are fired in ovens to stop the process and dried again to remove all moisture.

Darjeeling Tea
The champagne of teas, a second flush hand picked from the Darjeeling region of India. Good for afternoon sipping, after dinner or even as iced tea.

Classic English Blend Tea
A traditional combination of golden tipped Indian tea with a strong, malty flavor. A classic for its ultimate drink ability and broad appeal. Wonderful with milk and sugar, in the British style.

Earl Grey with Lavender Tea
This classic blend of fine black teas gains complexity and character from the clean, lightly floral flavor of lavender scented with citrusy natural Italian oil of bergamot.

Cinnamon Orange Spice Tea
This spicy blend combines fine Asian black tea blended with cinnamon chips, orange peels, cinnamon & orange spice essence.

Winder Blend Tea
An irresistible blend of fine Assam Black Tea with cinnamon chips, orange peel, apple bits, almonds, rose petals, and cinnamon & orange.

GREEN TEAS
Classic, Scented & Flavored

Green teas posses a more delicate, subtle flavor than black teas. They are fresh and clean tasting. After harvesting, the leaves are pan fired, wherein the leaves are exposed to hot steam to destroy the enzymes that would otherwise cause them to ferment. Afterwards, the leaves are rolled on heated tables to further dry the tea. Finally, they are fired, graded, and packed. The entire process takes only one day.

Green Passion
Our most popular green tea, this blend is an energizing combination of Japanese Sencha, natural Siberian ginseng, Jasmine marigold flowers, and exotic passion fruit essence. The flavor is clean and slightly sweet. A favorite for the novice as well as the connoisseur.

Rose Sencha
Luxurious, exotic, and wonderfully aromatic, this tea feels like a day at the spa. Japanese Sencha is blended with beautiful rose petals and rose essence.

Some are lush and exotic while other are classic in their simplicity. These teas are beautifully blended for the pallet as well as the eye.
